Sketch spreeeee 2008
I havn't done this since 2005, but I'm opening for unlimited sketch commissions (or at least, as many as I can bear) I need a bit of money for the hotel/food/general in a (desperately needed) trip I'm going on- so I'll be working hard on these throughout this month.

This was my favourite show when I was a kid.. and it never creeped me out back then, so technically I shouldn't be scared of spiders, but I'm a crazy arachnaphobe..
Seeing this again and how accurate the animation is to a real spider SCARES ME. I still love it though. So nostalgic - it's worth the shivers and BLARRGH noises I make every time the spider moves.
Actually I don't know if fellow arachnaphobes should watch this.. they animated him pretty well and the menacing TEEHEEHEEs from the spider don't help 8I

Ffs.. changing ISP. The net goes down when it's all I have to do at night. It's especially annoying when it's every half hour it decides to blip. Tonight it went down for three hours at a bad time. It does this a lot.

Because I'm in Wales at the moment and I don't have my scanner/lightbox withme, I can't work on my regular commissions. I'll be resuming those as soon as I do get home but during time while I'm idle here, I wanna take some digital sketch commissions at $10 per character. ($15 anthro)

I finally finished an avatar in second life o.o Despite having played on and off since 2006 I'd only built bits and pieces. I pushed myself to finish this one and some of it's a little rushed but at least now I know I can finish something 8<
Modem, my first avatar made 100% from scratch (Thank you to everyone who gave advice and encouragement, because I never finish things without it)
Be gentle. She's made of my first maya attempts, too.

Bad:
*Eye texture rushed and repeats slightly at back of head
*Paws made in about 10mins and are messy
*Nose needs a sculpted prim
*Head needs more fluffs to look less spherical
Good:
*Really happy with first sculpted prims (especially ears)
*Learnt how to correctly apply textures to sculpted prims
*Completed an avatar, even if parts are basic, I have more insentive to improve next time
Yay for 3D.
My flu is going now. :D
